Tambó is a rhythm-led cultural gathering rooted in the spirit of the drum and the tradition of social dance.

Born in Mexico City and inspired by Afro-Caribbean and Latin heritage, Tambó creates immersive spaces where music, movement, and community come together with intention. The name references the tambor, the drum, a symbol of ancestry, communication, and shared heartbeat across cultures.

Tambó centers Afro-Caribbean and Latin rhythms including Bachata, Merengue, Salsa, Cumbia, Banda, Punta, Regional, Kizomba, Kompa, Samba, and other traditional social dance forms. Each edition honors the richness of these genres and the communal nature of partner dancing, where rhythm becomes dialogue and movement becomes connection.

More than a party, Tambó is a circle. A place where bodies reconnect to heritage, identities are affirmed, and the dance floor becomes a living archive of rhythm and migration.
